Dear MANRS Participants,

We’re pleased to share with you the latest MANRS Quarterly Update - a quick look at our recent progress, activities, and what’s coming next.

Voting is Open Until July 22 for the MANRS Charter Review

Using the MANRS Development Process (MDP), we are reviewing and updating the MANRS Community Charter to align it with today’s reality of the initiative, its stakeholders, and the roles we all play in shaping the future of MANRS (the current version of the Charter dates back to 2021).

The process began on June 2, 2025, with a proposal that outlines those changes. After closing the Call for Comments on July 8, the Steering Committee moved the proposal to Last Call on July 9. This final stage will be open until July 22 at 23:59 UTC.

Now It’s Time to Vote

The Last Call is, in reality, a voting process. Here is what you need to know about it:
If you're eligible to vote, don't miss the chance to have your say on the proposed changes. If you believe you’re eligible to vote, but haven’t received the email, please contact us.

Community Growth
In our interconnected ecosystem, growth is everybody’s business. Your MANRS participation won’t be fully effective until you have all your peers and clients on board too. So, send them over! Become our source of growth!

Research

This quarter, we were honored to have an award-winning paper featured in our blog:

Congratulations to all the co-authors! @Khwaja Zubair Sediqi, @Romain Fontugne, @Amreesh Phokeer, PhD, @Massimiliano Stucchi, @Massimo Candela, and @Anja Feldmann.

Upcoming MANRS Community Meeting

Registration is not open yet, but we are sure you will want to save the date for our next MANRS Community Meeting of the year, on November 12.

We are working on the agenda, so please do not hesitate to send any presentation proposals you may have!

Can We Help?

We always welcome feedback. To do so, simply email us at contact@manrs.org or submit feedback via the website.

In the meantime, follow us on social media @RoutingMANRS for all the day-to-day updates. And if you know of another organization that should join us - including peers or clients of your own networks or services - send them here to join!

Can You Help?

Yes, you can!

The newsletter is open to everyone interested in routing security, either a MANRS Participant or not. So, if routing security is your topic, simply make sure you’re subscribed to the https://elists.manrs.org/postorius/lists/manrs-community.elists.manrs.org/ and/or start following our newsletter on LinkedIn. Feel free to contact us if you have any contributions, and help us spread the word.

Also, please help us reach further by bringing as many peers and clients as possible to the initiative. Good routing security can only be achieved collectively.

See you next quarter!
