Dear MANRS participants:
As announced by Tony Tauber, Chair of our Steering Committee, the process to update the MANRS Community Charter is ready to move forward to its final stage.
After incorporating the feedback provided during the Call for Comments into a
new version of the draft, the Steering Committee has agreed that the document is ready to be progressed to the
MANRS Last Call, which will be
open from July 9, 12:00 UTC through July 22, 23:59 UTC.
The outcome of this last call will be determined by voting, and we would like to encourage all of you to participate.
This is how that process will take place:
- All MANRS primary contacts will receive an individual ballot on July 9 at 12:00 UTC by e-mail; here are the headers of the message to help you locate it:
Subject: Your Invitation to Vote in the Election: MANRS Last Call
- The message will contain a link to the vote, which will have 3 options:
- I am in favour of the proposed changes to the Charter
- I am against the proposed changes to the Charter
- I abstain
- Voting will be open for the entire period of the Last Call, that is, from July 9, 12:00 UTC through July 22, 23:59 UTC
- You will be able cast your vote only once
Participation is essential for this, so we will make sure that you receive constant reminders across the Last Call period. Your voice counts!
Thanks, and best regards from Belgium,
