It’s MANRS Steering Committee election season, and nominations are now open!

Three seats, currently held by Melchior Aelmans, Musa Stephen Honlue, and Tony Tauber, are up for election. We thank all three for their valuable contributions to MANRS, and all three are eligible to run again if they so choose.

But now is also YOUR opportunity to help guide the MANRS initiative and play a more active role in improving routing security.

The process is fully outlined in the Steering Committee Election Process 2025 document, but the highlights are:

• Nominations Open: September 25 – October 17

• Online Election: October 28 – 30

• Announcement of Results: November 4

We count on your participation and involvement, starting from today's initial Call for Nominations. Your organization does NOT have to be a MANRS participant to run for election to the Steering Committee. If you are interested in running, please complete the nomination form before October 17, 2025, at 23:59 UTC.

Now is also a good time for all MANRS participants to make a plan to vote. Log into your MANRS Observatory account and check your profile (in the top right of the screen). It will tell you if you’re the primary contact for your organization, or who it is if it isn’t you.
