On behalf of the MANRS Steering Committee, I am happy to announce that a proposal has been submitted via the MANRS Development Process (MDP) and is now open for comments. This Call for Comments will last for four (4) weeks, ending on 28 February 2025.

· Summary: This document proposes a framework for the development of MANRS specifications and other types of documents.

You may notice that we are intending to use the new Process to finalize and ratify the Process itself!
Yes, this activity will serve both to bootstrap the Process (as none was in place before), and to test the Process.
Note that for this proposal the Steering Committee decided not to form a Working Group.
That is why we announce the proposal and the Call for Comments in a single email.
