Dear MANRS Participants, We’re pleased to share with you the latest MANRS Quarterly Update - a quick look at our recent progress, activities, and what’s coming next. *Voting is Open Until July 22 for the MANRS Charter Review* Using the MANRS Development Process (MDP) <https://manrs.org/manrs-development-process/>, we are reviewing and updating the *MANRS Community Charter* to align it with today’s reality of the initiative, its stakeholders, and the roles we all play in shaping the future of MANRS (the current version of the Charter dates back to 2021). The process began on June 2, 2025, with a *proposal <https://manrs.org/proposals/21811/>* that outlines those changes. After closing the Call for Comments on July 8, the Steering Committee moved the proposal to *Last Call* on July 9. This final stage will be open until *July 22 at 23:59 UTC*. *Now It’s Time to Vote* The Last Call is, in reality, *a voting process*. Andrei Robachevsky offered an update on the MDP <https://ripe90.ripe.net/archives/video/1567> to the RIPE community, and Leslie Daigle demonstrated the importance of MANRS <https://ripe90.ripe.net/archives/video/1575> for GCA’s Internet Integrity work. Charter review: MANRS Last Call

Dear MANRS Participants, Thank you for all feedback provided during the Call for Comments, which went to the manrs-community mailing list. The feedback was incorporated in a new version of the document 202506-DRAFT-MANRS-Community-Charter.02<https://docs.google.com/document/d/13U9nsuI-KtUG3Rgt9iNJDdgXBd_tQfOf/edit?u…> . The following changes were made to address the community input: - The definition of a MANRS Participant (article 1.2) was extended to describe type of organizations that participate in MANRS. - The mistakes in numbering of the sections and articles were corrected. The Steering Committee agreed that the draft is ready to be progressed to the MANRS Last Call. The MANRS Last Call is open to MANRS Participants through July 22, 2025. The outcome of the MANRS Last Call will be determined by voting. Voting instructions will be sent by a member of the Secretariat following this announcement. Dear community members, The MANRS Steering Committee is happy to announce that a Proposal has been submitted within the MANRS Development Process (MDP) and is now open for comments. This Call for Comments will last for four (4) weeks, ending on July 1, 2025. * Proposal Name: MANRS Community Charter * Specification Type: Normative * Proposal Type: Update Summary: This is a proposal for the updates to the MANRS Community Charter. You can find the full proposal here: https://manrs.org/proposals/21811/ including a link (“view documents”) on the lower left. This link leads to a which contains two versions of the revised charter, which are identical as far as the content is concerned: 1. Proposed Changes (annotated) – contains a clean version of the proposal with the changes annotated in the comments 2. Proposed Changes (tracked changes) – contains a “red-line” version with all changes tracked Please provide your comments and feedback on the proposal via the MANRS community mailing list (manrs-community(a)elists.manrs.org<mailto:manrs-community@elists.manrs.org>) through July 1, 2025.
